Jared Endsley Banta

Frankfort " Jared Endsley Banta, age 21, passed away December 27, 2016. Celebration of Life Services for Jared will be held at Capital City Christian Church, 15 Locust Drive, Frankfort, Kentucky at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2016 with Pastor Jeremiah Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, January 2, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until service time. Jared was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on August 23, 1995 to Ann Banta and Alan Robert Charles, and raised by his father, Tim Banta. He was a graduate of Western Hills High School. He continued his studies of Business at Eastern Kentucky University. He was the assistant manager at Pizza Hut. Jared was a Buckeye Fan and loved Ohio State University. He was a natural athlete " playing football, soccer, baseball, tennis, basketball and swimming. He was a great deer hunter. He loved his car. He gave the best bear hugs; he loved and was loved by everyone. He always had a warm smile and a kind word for everyone he encountered. Jared was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Verna Carveth; his great-grandfather, Vachel Banta; his great-grandparents, Ed and Stella Brooks; his grandmother, Diane Davis and his grandfather, John Compson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Joshua Banta; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Compson; paternal grandparents, Ken and Phyllis Charles; paternal grandparents, VG and Karen Banta; great-grandmother, Ann Banta; aunts Dawn and Michelle Charles; aunt Laurie (Joe) Garcia; uncle Brett (Annette) Edgington; uncle Todd (Ginny) Banta; Aunt Shannah (Paul) Reynolds; Aunt Terri (Keith) Campbell; and his many cousins. He was also blessed with many wonderful friends.
