Pauline Marraccini

Frankfort – Pauline Juett Rarden Marraccini, age 98, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 10, 2026. She died peacefully at her home in the company of family. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Colston officiating. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mrs. Marraccini joins her husband, Egisto “Tony” Marraccini, son, David Marraccini, parents, Thomas and Sallie Rarden, and brother, Robert “Bobby” Rarden, who preceded her in death. Pauline was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Frankfort as a young girl. A 1946 graduate of Frankfort High School, she attended business college prior to working in the early 1950s for the J.C. Penney Company at its then downtown Frankfort location. She later worked for the Kentucky Finance Department. She married in 1951, and left the workforce in 1956 to become a full-time wife and mother. She raised six children. She is survived by five of those, a son, Mark Marraccini (Patti), and daughters, Debbie Marraccini (Paula Lee), Linda Young (Benny), Diane Marraccini, and Dawn Marraccini Moreland (Jeff). She has six grandchildren, Christopher Scott, Michael, Steven, and Jacob Marraccini, and Caitlin Moreland and Taylor Richardson; as well as ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A life-long member of Memorial Baptist Church, she was active in her Sunday School Class, regularly hosting its members in her home. She was a member of the Church Choir and often a soloist with her beautiful soprano voice. Gardening and raising beautiful flowers admired by many was also her life-long passion. An avid seamstress, she also created endless garments for her daughters. As she physically slowed in recent years, she frequently wished aloud to “just be able to get out and get her hands in the dirt again.” Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Flowers are welcome, and expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
