Services for Phyllis Webster McGown will be conducted from Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, with Dr. Bob Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Phyllis passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, in Lexington. She was born in Lockport, Kentucky on January 13, 1927, and was the daughter of Eddie and Rose Hamilton Chisholm. She retired from the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet. Phyllis was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Clair and held close her ties to Memorial Baptist Church. Phyllis was a kind and gentle woman with a heartwarming smile. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George William Webster, Jr.; second husband, James Robert McGown; granddaughter, Katelyn Webster Goddard; her parents; brother, Hillis Chisholm; and half-brother, Gilbert Chisholm. She leaves behind two daughters, Sharon Webster (Rolland) Young, Cartersville, GA, Judy Webster Goddard, Frankfort; four grandchildren, Kevin Young, Atlanta, GA, Kristi Young (Matt) Brewer, Atlanta, GA, Zachary and Andrew Goddard, Frankfort; great grandchildren, Kyle and Samantha Brewer, Atlanta, GA; two half-brothers, Larry (Azile) Chisholm, Lawrenceburg, Tommy Chisholm, Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Rolland Young, Kevin Young, Zachary Goddard, Bobby Webster, Ronald Hockensmith, Andrew Goddard and Nathan Hunter. Members of the Sunshine and Fidelis Sunday School Classes, Memorial Baptist Church are honorary pallbearers. Her family is appreciative for the care and support shown to Phyllis by the staffs of King''s Daughters Apartments and Franklin County Senior Citizens. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, Alzheimer''s Association, 465 E.
