Isaac Gleason

Isaac Gleason, a long-time Frankfort, Kentucky resident, passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 45, due to an illness. Isaac is survived by his children, Zoey and Gavin Parker (mother Dana Parker) and Max Gleason (mother Sabrina Reed); his siblings, Rachel (Alonzo Scott), Nathan (Shannan), Justin, and Jeremy (Rachel) Rome; his parents, Theresa Gleason and David and Julia Rome; his nieces and nephews, Lauren Whiteside, Michal Allen, Gabby Israel, Ben, Leah, River, Swayze, Poppy, and Sylvia Rome; and his great-nieces and nephews, Maliyah Whiteside, Jeremiah Allen, and Xavier Allen-Jako. Isaac was born in Lexington, Kentucky. He lived in Frankfort and Lexington, in his early years, with his mother and older siblings (Nathan and Rachel), before moving west, to Alameda, California with his mother, where he lived until his early teens. He returned to Kentucky and lived with his brother, Nathan, in Berea, before moving back to Frankfort to live with his Kentucky parents, David and Julia Rome. In his early adulthood, Isaac worked hard to obtain his GED. In his early career, he worked for several years in hospitality management at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. He later transitioned to working for the City of Frankfort’s Sewer Department and most recently for the Louisivlle Metro Sewer District. Isaac had a huge heart and a smile that would light up a room. He was outgoing and a natural born comedian who loved connecting with family and friends. He was athletic and played both baseball and basketball growing up, before getting into weight lifting as an adult. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, boating, and annual family campouts. He loved baseball, enjoyed music, and a good meal. He was a spiritual man, with a life-long belief in God. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at Memories Event Venue, 811 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY (in the shopping center behind Casa Fiesta) on Saturday, December 3rd, with visitation at 4 PM followed by service at 5 PM.
