Frankfort " Services for Justin Lee Gaines, 25 yrs., will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Hockensmith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Justin passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012, as a result of a plane crash in Melbourne, FL, which also claimed the lives of friends and co-workers, Rob Kurrus and Chris Franklin. Justin, formerly of Frankfort, KY, was born May 2, 1986, in Orlando, FL, and was the General Manager of Premiere Oaks Theater, Melbourne, FL. He was a member of Buck Run Baptist Church, National Honor Society, and a 2004 graduate of Bayside High School, Palm Bay, FL. Justin enjoyed deep sea fishing, boar hunting, paintball, rollerblading, motorcycles, and life itself. He and his fiancée, Tara Densler of Palm Bay, FL, founded and organized Painted Horse Dreams. He is survived his father, Dr. James Russell Gaines, Frankfort, KY; mother, Teresa Gail Long (Phillip) Grimes; brothers, Joshua and Zachary Gaines, both of Frankfort, and Ethan Gaines, Viera, FL; paternal grandparents, James and Linda Gaines, Frankfort, KY; maternal grandparents, James and Ruth Long, Frankfort, KY; great grandmother, Goldie Cook, Frankfort, KY; uncles, Stephen (Debbie) Gaines, Lexington, KY, and Eric Long, Frankfort, KY; aunt, Julie (Mark) Templeton, Frankfort, KY; several cousins, great aunts and uncles; and his pets, Bo (Labrador); Bella (Husky), and Jessie (Painted Horse). In addition, Justin leaves behind many friends at the Palm Bay and Melbourne, FL Police Departments and Brevard County Sheriff�s Office. Brandon Clark, Joshua Gaines, Zachary Gaines, Steve Gaines, Mark Templeton, Eric Long, Jason Hibbs and Robert Cash will serve as pallbearers. Honorary bearers will be Ethan Gaines, Kayla Templeton, Amy Osbourne, Jason Jong, Scott Kenny, Jim Murrish, Jason Eckton, Melbourne Florida Police Department and Brevard County Sheriff�s Office.
