Kelli Rawlings Frankfort- Services for Kelli Michelle Rawlings, 23, of Frankfort will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, Frankfort. Chaplain Scott Storie will officiate. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Ky. Visitation will be Monday, May 18, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Church. She died Sunday, May 10, 2009 in Yuma, AZ as a result of injuries received in a car accident. She was born in Nashville, TN on July 10, 1985 and grew up in Frankfort, KY. She was a United States Marine with MWSS-371, MWSG-37, 3d MAW, Yuma, AZ. Lance Corporal Rawlings graduated from Western Hills High School in 2003, ITT in 2007, and joined the United States Marine Corps January 28, 2008. She is survived by her mother, Sharon Tharp Rawlings, Frankfort; father, Charles David Rawlings, Frankfort; brothers, Corporal Matthew D. Rawlings, USMC, Frankfort; Lance Corporal Charles M. Rawlings, USMC, (Cayla), Camp Lejeune, NC; and William J. Rawlings, Frankfort; grandmothers, Inez S. Tharp, Nashville, TN, and Ann K. Rawlings, Frankfort; uncles, R. Lynn Tharp (Glenda), Nashville, TN, and Timothy C. Rawlings (Brenda), Frankfort, KY; cousins, Jennifer Tharp, Nashville, TN; Jason Tharp (Bethany), Franklin, TN; Michael Rawlings, Frankfort and Kent Rawlings, Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lieutenant Colonel Milton J. Tharp, USMC, Nashville, and Charles E. Rawlings, Frankfort; maternal aunts, Clara Tharp Eldridge (Paul), Dorothy Tharp Bryan (Nelson), and Hayden Tharp, all of Nashville; and maternal uncle, Robert M. Tharp, Fitzgerald, GA. Active pallbearers will be the United States Marines of Military Police Company A, Lexington, KY. Honorary pallbearers will be the United States Marines of MWSS-371, MWSG-37, 3d MAW, Yuma, AZ; Marine Recruiting Office in Frankfort, KY; Corporal Matthew D. Rawlings, Lance Corporal Charles M. Rawlings, Cayla Rawlings, William J. Rawlings, Jennifer Tharp, Jason Tharp, Michael Rawlings, Kent Rawlings, Stephanie Turner, Shelby Gelhausen, Staff Sergeant Patrick Sinclair, Corporal Hunter Stockton, Lance Corporal Dawn Wheeler, Master Sergeant Perry Clemmons, Katie Kirk, Justin Rome, Crystal Price, Ryan Adams, Cecil Mohr, Jessica Wooldridge, Megan Bates, Juan Charry, Raydeana and G.
