Saturday June 17th was one of the worse days of my life when I had to say goodbye to my dog who was a best friend and family to me. I called after it happened and the lady who answered was so kind. Then on arrival Scott met me at the door with such compassion and genuine empathy I immediately felt some relief. Through the paperwork and handing over my precious boy he was absolutely amazing. The care, compassion, patience, empathy he shown us was indescribable. I could never thank them enough

Dear Will, This past Saturday, August 28th, at your families funeral home we had a service for my sister Katie Griffin. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the respect that you gave my Mother, and the rest of my family. The details around the funeral to begin with were very hard for my Mother, so ensuring that her Daughter had a proper, professional service was top priority. In your industry, you are surrounded by the reality that everyone and everything alive succumbs to. The ritual of the dead is one that dates back from the very beginning both biblically and through practices created to please the earth at the time and keep in good faith with the one who had passed. The service you provided us was unquestionably what we were looking for. My Mother will continue her life with one less child, one less beautiful daughter. When she remembers her daughter there will be a stain from events leading up to when she decided to change funeral homes. There will be a lot of emotional trauma that will have to be taken care of and we will have to live with that for the rest of our lives. However, the most important part of what our western civilization has created around the dead, viewing the body one last time, was granted by you. The physical body was not an accurate representation of Katie, because of the several moves and the care it hadn't received leading up to the days the body was released to you. This is not on you and I understand that. But the respect you had for my Sister was the most important to me. A funeral is one of the hardest events any person has to attend, especially when the one laying in the casket is one you dearly loved, thank you for making it just a little easier. Your kindness, respect, compassion, and sympathy are most appreciated. Thank you, Christian Miller.

I can't thank Will Harrod and Lauren Prichard and the entire Harrod Brother's staff (family) enough during the end of life process for my son! I cannot imagine how anyone could do this day in and day out but they do and with such precious thought, consideration and care. My son's service was beautiful and I know he would be honored the way it was handled. The Harrods are distant relatives and local friends but treat everyone as if close relative. Returning after hour phone calls within minutes..I would've never thought. You always hear of the emergency crews being on call and high demand which is expected, but this line of work is just as demanding but overlooked. I am grateful for the dedication, comfort, involvement and continuous care.
